Company History
INPHO is looking back to 29 years of successful contributions to the geospatial information market. For several photogrammetric technologies INPHO has been the first company worldwide offering a commercial software product.
Already during the analytical photogrammetry times in 1985 INPHO contributed with the first automated digital photogrammetric system for 3D measurement of industrial surfaces (InduSURF / MATCH-I). INPHO also provided the first solution for GPS-supported aerial triangulation (PATB / SKIP) opening the possibility for drastical reduction of ground control, and thus of overall project costs.
In the era of digital photogrammetry INPHO developed the first products for automated DTM generation (MATCH-T) and fully automatic aerial triangulation (MATCH-AT). After becoming a photogrammetric system supplier in 2000, INPHO completed its portfolio by advanced and unique techniques for true orthophoto generation, orthophoto mosaicking and semi-automated building extraction.
In parallel to the photogrammetric developments, INPHO has continuously extended its technology for high-precision terrain modeling.
