INPHO's Photogrammetric System V5.2

NEW PATCH 5.2.1 for MATCH-AT, MATCH-T DSM, DTMaster, OrthoMaster and inBLOCK available !

Stuttgart, Germany - 28 May 2009

We are pleased to announce launching of a new major version of INPHO's photogrammetric system, including
  • ApplicationsMaster 5.2
  • MATCH-AT 5.2
  • MATCH-AT Pushbroom 5.2
  • inBLOCK 5.2
  • MATCH-T DSM 5.2
  • DTMaster 5.2
  • OrthoMaster 5.2
  • DPMaster 5.2
The new versions 5.2 can be used as flexible standalone tools, which fit into any photogrammetric production workflow, or as a complete, perfectly tuned photogrammetric system.

Like with the previous version, the user may select between a 32-bit and a 64-bit version of our software.

The main new highlights of version 5.2 are:

Processing of large image blocks

The bundle block adjustment of MATCH-AT has been improved to handle blocks of about 20.000 images.

Significantly improved quality of DSM point clouds

The generation of digital surface models by MATCH-T DSM was introduced with version 5.1. In version 5.2 the quality of point clouds has been improved significantly, by new filtering algorithms removing the largest part of outliers, and by an improved feature-based matching algorithm.

Increased processing speed by multi-threading

Multi-threading is now applied for tie point measurement and block adjustment in MATCH-AT, for DTM/DSM extraction in MATCH-T DSM and for orthophoto generation in OrthoMaster. Up to 4 cores can be used in parallel for these tasks. This can speed-up the processing considerably.

New improved DTM Toolkit

Version 5.2 of ApplicationsMaster includes a new DTM Toolkit which is able to process huge point clouds much more efficiently. The tiling of point and vector data allows to divide large projects into handy working units. The filtering of point clouds from LIDAR or MATCH-T DSM is now possible in DTM Toolkit, making available the SCOP++ LIDAR filtering technology (requires a license of SCOP++ LIDAR).

Some other new features are:
  • Image distortion grids can now be exchanged with other systems (import and export).
  • Imagery of the GeoEye-1 satellite is now supported.
  • DTMaster is able to display shaded reliefs and intensity values of LAS files.
  • MATCH-T DSM is now able to export point clouds in LAS format.
  • The orthophoto generation from pushbroom images has been considerably improved.
  • The USB version of the Stealth 3D Mouse is now supported in DTMaster and MATCH-AT.
 
Software availability

The new version 5.2 can be downloaded from our website www.inpho.de along with operating manual, sample data and release notes.

Licensing information

Upgrading from any previous version requires a new licensing file. It will be made available to all customers having a valid maintenance agreement.
